Mantel is a private family album. We collect only what's needed to run the app.
What we collect
Email address (for sign-in and account recovery), display name (shown to other family members), photos you upload (stored in Amazon S3 in ap-south-1, served via CloudFront with signed URLs), and a Cognito user identifier.
What we don't collect
No diagnostics, no ad identifiers, no analytics SDKs, no third-party trackers. We do not sell or share your data.
Family content ownership
Photos you upload to a family are part of that family's shared memory. The family owner is the data controller for that family's content. If you delete your account, your photos stay with each family you uploaded to — the family collectively owns them.
Account deletion
Open the app → Profile → Delete account. Your Cognito record and personal identifiers are erased. Your reactions display as "Removed member" thereafter.
